We have just learned what our next adventure is to be! Our BBF is a member of the Rheindahlen Branch of the Royal British Legion, which as many of you will know is a Veterans Charity. Chris Farrell is also a member and he had the great idea, last year, that he wanted to cycle from Berlin to Rheindahlen, visiting all the RBL Branches in Germany. He intended that this bike ride should be an effort to raise money for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. Alan said he'd like to participate.
Well we start by taking the train to Berlin on Wednesday 12 June, that's next week and we are already so excited. Mind you we are not sure if Chris knows what he's let himself in for by agreeing to us accompanying him on this ride!
We intend as usual to Blog every day. Let's hope Chris has a good sense of humour, for not only has he to put up with us, but Alan said we must watch the final of Let's Dance, which is next week!!
